Math > Random> sample noise
This tile is a Math tile. It is used to create a random number based on the position of an object. Obviously in objects that do not move this number will be the same each time, but on a moving character this number will be different as they move around (unless they stand in exactly the same spot). You can specify which position you use for the sample noise (if not the object your kode line is in) using a vector or IWP:object. By default the number will be between -1 and 1.
WHEN [countdown timer] DO [numvar:my sample noise number][=][sample noise]
0 to 1: Instead of the default -1 to 1 you can change the number to be between 0 and 1.
frequency: Paired with a number. This determines the average number of samples obtained per second.
